2009 was a great year!
May 5, 2009 Josh proposed! It was so unexpected, which I loved, and only the beginning of great things to come.
We set the date for September 19, only four months away! There was so much to do and I am the world's biggest procrastinator! First on the list was to get a dress. I tried on so many, and there were so many to choose from. I had lots of help though. My mom and sisters, future mother- and sister-in-law, and bridesmaid came with me. We all had fun and all found dresses that day (well, everyone except the mom's). Next was to meet with the wedding planner. Mom insisted we needed her. I agree now. She did an amazing job with everything!
We got married in the church we were attending and had an outside reception on the hill behind the church. The weather was beautiful. I couldn't ask for a better day. All our friends and family shared our special day and we had an amazing time!
