Honeymoon #2We were able to take time over Christmas break and have our 'official' honeymoon. We chose Nassau, Bahamas. Neither of us had been there, and we were excited about the warm weather! We stayed at the Sandals Resort, where there are no children allowed. We're not against kids, we would just rather not go on out honeymoon with a bunch of kids running around.
The resort was very nice and we had a relaxing time. We even went scuba diving, and now I can't wait to do it again. I thought I might freak out being underwater and trying to breath through a tube, but it was so easy! We both really liked it!
We did several things: scuba diving, as I mentioned, toured the Atlantis Resort, spent a day on Rose Island (very beautiful with very few people), relaxed by the pool, and enjoyed a seafood buffet and fireworks on New Year's Eve.

All in all, our trip was great: great food, great weather, great time together!
We set the date for September 19, only four months away! There was so much to do and I am the world's biggest procrastinator! First on the list was to get a dress. I tried on so many, and there were so many to choose from. I had lots of help though. My mom and sisters, future mother- and sister-in-law, and bridesmaid came with me. We all had fun and all found dresses that day (well, everyone except the mom's).
